Premium Liiga matchday 8 kicked off on Good Friday with three matches. Flora faced Paide at Sportland Arena, Kuressaare played against Pärnu Vaprus, and Harju JK Laagri was facing Tartu Tammeka.
Flora - Paide (1-0)
Flora Tallinn beat Paide 1–0 in a match played at Sportland Arena. The only goal of the game came in the first half, in the 26th minute, following a defensive error by Paide. A misplaced pass landed at the feet of Rauno Sappinen, who broke free and scored the opening goal.
In the second half, Paide got more into the game and managed to create quality scoring chances. The substitutions made in the beginning of the second half clearly brought extra energy to the away team, and made some difficulties to Flora's defensive line. In stoppage time, the match took turn when Flora’s defender Mihhail Kolobov was sent off after receiving a second yellow card.
Harju JK Laagri - Tartu Tammeka (4-1)
Harju defeated Tammeka 4–1 at Laagri in a strong comeback victory, led by Karel Eerme’s hat-trick. After trailing 0–1 at halftime, Harju made tactical changes and substitutions that shifted the momentum. Eerme scored three times, and Rudenko added the fourth goal. The win marks a form of revenge for Harju, who were relegated by Tammeka in 2023. Now back in the top division, Harju sits comfortably in 6th place with 10 points, while Tammeka struggles in the relegation zone with only 4 points and a five-game losing streak.
